Happy Spring Everyone and Hellooooo Sunshine!! When we think of spring we first think of flowers and of course warmer weather. Today we got full blown sun in Toronto and we are very excited about it (minus the wind chill ofcourse). Thinking of building a wardrobe on a low budget but looking good at the same time, here's some help from the "doll". First I would say, get your colour palette "Spring Like"" eg., shades of pink, green, yellow, purple, blue or any colour that resembles a beautiful garden. Today I'm wearing a warn blush sweater dress with a split up the thigh, a pair of (DIY) denim Bermuda shorts and cream kitten heels. Not forgetting the floral clutch which could be in a solid bold colour of your choice. Easy, simple yet chic - Give it a try and let me know what you think! Love #gorgeousdoll
I Know we all go through hardships in our daily lives, but just remember never let your circumstances get the best of you. Never give in to the negative voices in your head. Rather, encourage yourself, talk positively to yourself and overall believe in yourself! You will be successful and you will walk into purpose. It's time to start shining and let your start be seen.....Happy Thursday guys! :)
#MondayMotivation: Getting out of our comfort zones are not easy but sometimes it's quite satisfying to try new things. You will never know if you'll love something or someone if you don't give it/them a chance. Start by researching a new topic or trying out a new dish, something way out of your norm. Read up on new destinations, places you never intended to go, just look it up and set a goal to visit one day. You never know, it may just change your life forever. As you broaden your mind, your horizons begin to expand. Don't live within the box but venture out toward new territories in life. "Get out of your comfort zone."
My Look Book: NeonGreen/Yellow on Pink/Blush. These two colours blend very well naturally, as we can see this blend in flowers for example tulips. Nature is a great source of inspiration for colour palettes. Have a great week guys! Part of you being a woman is about looking good and I believe every woman should make the effort to do so. It is not hard and it is so worth it. It makes you feel more confident and makes your "world" a better place. When you look good you feel good :) I take my liking to the 1950's Mattel invention; The Barbie Doll - my personal inspiration. A doll is beautiful...and we dolls (women) are beautiful likewise. Fashion is an accessory to our natural beauty!
My Look Book: Denim on Tulle - Mixing and matching is one of my favorite skills. Denim is a closet staple that pairs with practically anything and my choice today is a blush Tulle skirt and crop top. You should definitely try it out in any colour of your choice. |
